Terms of Use

GladiTrader is operated by [Legal Entity Placeholder] (“we”, “us”). This information will be updated prior to commercial launch. You can contact us about these terms at support@gladitrader.com.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using GladiTrader you confirm that you meet this requirement and that using the service is lawful where you live.

GladiTrader is provided for education and experimentation. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or present its simulated output as real trading performance to others.

In particular, you must not: probe, breach or overload the service or its APIs (including scraping at abusive rates or automating access beyond normal personal use); attempt to access accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours; upload malicious code or use the platform to distribute it; impersonate other users or the House; manipulate leaderboards, seasons or rewards through coordinated abuse or exploits; or resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts or workspaces that breach these terms, abuse the service or create risk for other users — where practical we will warn you first, but we may act immediately for serious or ongoing abuse.

You can stop using GladiTrader at any time and delete your account and its data from the Account page. On termination (by you or us), your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy: personal data is erased on request, while aggregated simulation records and the audit trail may be retained in de-identified form.

You keep ownership of the strategies you build, the code you write in the strategy editor and any other content you create on the platform. You grant us the licence needed to run that content in the simulation, store it, back it up and display its results (for example on leaderboards) as part of operating the service.

The House strategies, the platform itself and its branding remain ours or our licensors'. Public performance data on GladiTrader is provided for education — not for republication as investment research.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. Simulated results may contain errors and the service may change or be unavailable at any time.

GladiTrader is an educational simulation, not critical infrastructure. We do not promise uninterrupted availability: maintenance, upstream market-data outages or failures may pause the arena, and seasons or records may be adjusted to recover from faults. We keep routine backups, but you accept that simulated data — funds, strategies, standings and history — may be lost or reset and has no monetary value.

To the extent permitted by law, GladiTrader and its contributors are not liable for any decision you make based on the simulation. Because no real money is traded, the simulation itself causes no financial loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

GladiTrader offers optional paid plans (currently Pro and Team) that unlock higher limits inside the simulation — more custom strategies, more daily backtest runs, more workspace seats and the code strategy editor. Paying for a plan never enables real-money trading: every plan, free or paid, is paper trading only.

Plans are billed per workspace, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor Stripe. Prices are shown on the Billing page before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Unless the Billing page expressly states otherwise, listed prices exclude taxes. Where we are legally required to collect GST, VAT, sales tax or a similar tax on your subscription, it is calculated and added at checkout and shown on your Stripe receipt. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase that we are not required to collect.

Workspace admins can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from the Billing page. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe. Cancellation stops future renewals; your paid features remain available until the end of the period already paid for. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

If a renewal payment fails or a subscription lapses, the workspace returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted, but content and usage above the free limits (for example extra custom strategies or invited members beyond one seat) may become read-only or blocked until you resubscribe or reduce usage. We may change plan prices or what each plan includes with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@gladitrader.com — most issues can be resolved directly, and we aim to respond within a reasonable time. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it must be brought in the courts of New South Wales, Australia, and both sides submit to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents you from raising a complaint with a consumer-protection regulator in your country.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
