Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 July 2026

This policy describes the personal data Algo Arena holds and the controls you have over it. A full technical breakdown lives in the project's compliance documentation.

What we hold

Identity and sign-in (your email, display name and the providers you use to sign in) are managed by our authentication provider, Clerk. Algo Arena stores a reference to your account plus your workspace memberships, any invitations, your registered notification devices and an append-only audit trail of sensitive actions.

Trading data (bots, trades, snapshots, alerts) belongs to a workspace, not to an individual. It is simulated data, not personal data.

Your controls

You can export the personal data Algo Arena holds about you, and you can request erasure of that data, from the Account page at any time.

Erasure removes your profile, memberships, notification devices and invitations addressed to you. For accountability, audit-trail entries are retained but the actor is irreversibly anonymised and the personal details on them (email, display name, IP, device) are removed.

Your sign-in account itself is managed by Clerk and is deleted separately from your authentication provider.

Retention

Regenerable and low-risk data (such as market candles, old alerts and expired invitations) is purged on a rolling schedule. The audit trail is kept for a longer accountability window and is never purged within it.
